3D Modelling
We offer modelling services to convert point cloud scans to as-built 3D models.
Our 3D modelling team, comprised of CAD designers and IT engineers, are experienced in handling point clouds derived from photogrammetry or 3D laser scanning , and translating them into highly-accurate 3D CAD models using software tools, such as Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Revit, Trimble’s SketchUp, Undet for Revit and SketchUp, ClearEdge3D’s EdgeWise, Geo-Plus’ VisionLiDAR and VisionBIM, and others.

Models can be tailored for various levels of detail (LOD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) dimensions for applications such as as-built documentation, cost estimation, facility management, and construction planning.
Our team at UAS are also experts in 3D city modelling. Utilizing the same principals as the above, our team create 3D city models that are structured according to CityGML and can be used for various Geographic Information System (GIS) simulation and analysis.
Our goal is to eventually build solutions that can integrate 3D city models and BIM data to improve interoperability between information systems for unified applications in areas like urban planning, building construction analysis, and so much more.
